Steeped in fascinating history and positively crammed with old world charm, a tour of Rugby School and its museum is not to be missed. Canal Boat Hire
Navigate the North Oxford Canal, under the stone built bridges and through breath taking countryside. It’s a relaxing navigation with not too many locks and plenty of local pubs and villages. There are a number of boat hire companies in the area who will rent out narrow boats for the day.
Clay Pigeon Shooting
A short 10 minute drive takes you into the beautiful Warwickshire countryside where you can try your hand at the exciting sport of clay pigeon shooting.
Museums
Rugby town has three museums, which is not surprising considering the rich history of the town. Rugby Museum and Art Gallery, The Webb Ellis Rugby Football Museum and Rugby School Museum are all less than a five minute walk from The Rugby Hotel.
